Introduction to common processes for single-page and album printing

After business card printing, foldout printing, color page printing and picture album printing are completed, in order to make them more beautiful and generous, we usually carry out various post-press processing technologies. Now let's introduce the processing technology after printing:

1. Film covering: film covering can be divided into glossy film and matte film. Light film is a film with reflective effect on the surface, which can improve the brightness and smoothness of the printed matter, make the color more bright, vivid and fashionable. At the same time, it can also be waterproof, increase durability and resist wrinkles. Matte film is a kind of non-reflective film on the surface, which can make printed products such as business cards matt, smooth and elegant in color. It can also be waterproof, increase durability and resist wrinkles. Elegant, mainly used for graphic printing.

2. Round corner: printed matter is generally cut without processing after printing, that is, cut into right angles. Of course, if you want to cut it into round corners, you can also. The fillet is generally about 4MM.

3. Abnormal processing: abnormal refers to various irregular shapes. This process is to produce a mold. First, make the mold according to the shape. After the finished product is printed, it can be cut into special shapes with the mold.

4. Folding process: there are half fold, eye bag fold, heart fold, organ fold, half fold and two fold, all of which can be folded, curled and folded according to size.

5. Hollow-out process: hollow-out is a bit like a special shape, which also needs to be molded, but the special shape is to cut the outside, and the hollow-out is to cut the inside of the printed matter.

6. Hot stamping process: hot stamping business cards are hot stamped with gold foil of various colors (that is, the color of hot stamping can be adjusted, such as gold, sub-gold, silver, red gold, black gold, etc.). Hot stamping business card is not limited to paper. No matter what kind of paper, hot stamping business card must first make a mold for the parts to be hot stamped. When printing, the hot stamping part must be removed. After printing, hot stamping can be performed.

7. Bump process: scientific name is embossing, which depends on pressure to change the part of the printed object to form a pattern. After the metal plate is corroded, it becomes the pressing plate and base plate for pressing. The concave and convex plate making paper is generally thick, so the requirement for embossed business cards is that the embossed part cannot be printed because the embossing is inaccurate, which affects the beauty.

8. High-end crystal handicrafts: crystal handicrafts have requirements for paper. Coated paper cannot be used as crystal handicrafts, because small offset presses cannot print coated paper, and other paper (including special paper) can be used. The crystal craft business card is printed on the machine first. After printing it once, you can't wait to dry the ink and quickly apply the pressed pollen, and put it on the embossing machine (i.e. crystal craft). The crystal craft is completed.
