With the advent of the 21st century, the quality of industrial production requires more and more. Environmental awareness and production requirements are in line with ISO international standards. Whoever has more and more manufacturers, and people have higher requirements for packaging. The packaging box not only requires bright colors, but also has clear lines, smooth lines, no bursts, no color, no lint, and no paper dust.
However, many color box die-cutting manufacturers often have headaches for fluffing on the box. Now the phenomena such as fluffing and dusting on the edges of the paper, the reasons for its separation and the processing methods for the reference of its peers.
The first is paper. We usually use high-quality raw paper. Due to the long fibers, it is generally less fuzzing and dusting than recycled paper. Therefore, using original paper is not easy to fluff and dust. However, due to the current stage, most manufacturers need to reduce costs and promote the awareness of environmental recycling, more and more people like to use recycled paper. In this way, the demand for high-quality die-cut materials is getting larger and larger, so as to solve the problems of die-cut paper edge fluffing and dusting.
How to use high-quality materials to solve the problem? First, use high-quality die cutters. In the general high-grade die-cutting blade front, we can observe that there are still many pores and blemishes, which are not very slippery. This is one of the reasons for the generation of paper dust. In particular, the cutting knife with ruled surface treatment is very sharp on the surface, but in fact it is particularly plentiful and has the most chance of dusting. Now on the market there is an Austrian BOHLER “Supreme Extreme Knife”, which uses a special metallic paint to fill and slide the air holes and rafts like the walls, thus greatly reducing the generation of paper dust and is more suitable for Recycle paper. The friction between the knife and the paper edge is reduced, which means less wear on the machine, and the knife itself is more durable. This kind of knife is most suitable for die-cutting kits, cosmetics boxes, food boxes, cigarette packs and other long-length products that require no dust.
Another reason for the color-cutting of coloring boxes is that the matching and installation of die-cutting and sponge strips is not standardized. Because the sponge should have enough hardness to compress the paper, the die cutter will cut the paper smoothly. Different kinds of paper use different hardness sponge rubber, placement and height are also very elegant. The standard installation and material selection are as follows:
Rebound sponge hardness selection:
1. The distance between die cutters is <8mm, sponge rubber should be 60° Shore hardness.
2. The distance between the die cutters is >8mm, and the sponge glue should be 25° (pit paper) or 35° (jam) Shore hardness.
3. If the distance between the die cutter and the cable is <10mm, the hardness of the arched sponge should be 70° Shore hardness; if it is >10mm, the sponge hardness should be 35° Shore.
4. The die-cutting knife's punching position uses an arched rubber hard bottom of 70° Shore, which prevents the connection point from breaking.
Commonly used sponge glue has the following kinds:
35° Breathable Sponge:
The compression rate is 35%, the number of die cuts is 1,000,000, and the speed is 9000 times per hour for jams.
20° Sealed Arch Sponge:
The compression rate is 50%, the number of times of die cutting is 250,000, and the speed is 7500 times/hour. It is used for corrugated paper.
60° Solid Strips:
For narrow positions, such as the distance between die cutters <8mm.
The 70° arched rubber strip is used for the position of the die cutter knife, and the distance between the knife and the cable is less than 10mm.
Rebound sponge adhesive installation method:
Sponge conditions should be at least 1mm away from both sides of the die-cutting blade and cannot be installed close to the body. Otherwise, the sponge strip cannot expand in the direction of the blade after being pressed, and can only expand in the other direction. This causes the two sides to pull the paper. Die cutting knives also have to cut the paper in the future for a long time and have been broken by sponge rubber. This will cause fluffing and paper dust. In addition, sponge rubber should be 1.2mm higher than the blade, depending on the hardness of the appropriate adjustments. If the hardness is >35° Shore, then it should be <1.2mm. If the hardness is <35° Shore, it should be >1.2mm. In principle, the softer the sponge glue, the higher the height. The correct height of the sponge glue makes the wood sample faster.
In the whole wood mold, the quantity, hardness and height of the sponge glue should be distributed in a balanced manner at each position, and sponge glue should also be arranged on both sides of the balance knife.
In short, all the materials on the wooden mold, die cutter, die steel wire, sponge rubber, indentation line height, hardness should be very balanced. This not only has a good die cutting effect, but also can increase the speed of automatic die cutting machine.
Of course, the reasons for the fluffing and dusting of the color box die-cutting are related to the precision of the die-cutting machine, the flatness of the bottom steel plate, and the adjustment of the pressure. If the pressure is increased, no matter how good the knife is, even the best sponge rubber is not topped. use. Experts believe that when the automatic die-cutting machine starts to adjust the pressure, it should be adjusted to about 80% wear, and then according to different positions, make up with the use of make-up material, and then lock the pressure and then formally die-cut. This not only has a good die cutting effect, but also has a high production speed and a high production efficiency.
High-quality, high-precision, and compatible die-cutting materials will not only help you solve problems in production, but also increase production efficiency, enhance competitiveness, and establish a new and invincible position in the fierce market competition.
